Our virtual patient participation group hasnt had contact really since COVID and we would like to start this up again.
Although this has previously been a virtual group we may start inviting people into the surgery in small groups to discuss agenda items. Being a ‘virtual group’ this does not mean that you cannot apply to be a member if you haven’t got access email. If you want to join the group and your not on email then let us know and we will send out minutes by mail. If you would like to know more about it ask to speak to Jane Jones or Julie Fenton.
We are always open to new ideas and want to find ways of helping our patients be more involved with their care. We are also a community practice and we want to be involved in community events so let us know if you think we can help with anything.
There is also a Barnsley wide Patient Participation Group meeting held at Priory Campus that anyone from the Barnsley area can attend. The dates for these are

- 25th September
- 27th November
Our next meeting in the Practice is Tuesday 12th March at 2:00pm.
