Patient Participation Group

The Practice is seeking to actively involve patients in decisions about their care and other issues like premises and appointment systems etc.  Our virtual patient participation group hasn’t had contact really since COVID and we would like to start this up again. We had over a 600 names on the list before COVID and checking they are all still our patient would be a mammoth administrative task so we would like to start again.

Although this has previously been a virtual group we may start inviting people into the surgery in small groups to discuss agenda items. Being a  ‘virtual group’  does not mean that you cannot apply to be a member if you haven’t got access email. If you want to join the group and you’re not on email then let us know and we will send out minutes by mail.

We are looking for expressions of interest from patients who would like to be involved. If you would like to know more about it ask to speak to Jane Jones or Julie Fenton.

We are always open to new ideas and want to find ways of helping our patients be more involved with their care. We are also a community practice and we want to be involved in community events so let us know if you think we can help with anything.

A copy of the last meeting minutes will be displayed in Reception
